WHY STP?
WHY STP?
The quantum of waste in India has quadrupled in the last decade due to the lapse in government machinery, bureaucratic implementation, and incomplete privatization.
A major component of this aggregate is the untreated sewage which is let out into the surrounding water bodies.
Our product treats sewage with more efficiency than any of its competitors with zero energy and/or power consumption.
NEED FOR SUSTAINABLE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
NEED FOR SUSTAINABLE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
Sustainability can be understood as the quality of causing little or no damage to the environment and therefore. able to continue for an extended period.
In 2018, the United Nations in one of its communications stated that the seemingly infinite and ever-increasing capacity to discharge waste around the world is turning the environment into an open sewer.
While the issue of sewage management is being addressed, it is essential to administer technologies and solutions which are built on the various concepts and values of sustainability.

Background
Sandip University, Nashik has several buildings and sprawling gardens which require water for maintenance from time to time.
The natural drains and surrounding rivers would be polluted with the sewage generated from the university’s residential area.
Problem
For several years, they would source their water from the local corporate bodies.
They would approximately spend Rs.1,50,000 for a weekly water requirement of 450KLD
Solution
To overcome this expensive problem, It cost the management Rs.1.4 crores to implement Integrated Wetland Technology for the 500KL sewage generated each day, this amount included O&M for five years as well.
IWT has a 95% output efficiency and allows 480KL to be utilized for secondary purposes; additionally, our product’s output was 30KL more than their original requirement
Benefit
In roughly 93 weeks, Sandeep University would recover its investment and would save Rs. 1,50,000 weekly for at least the next 167 weeks
